Jen and Lowell's Gang!

Do you recognize these people?

Jen and Lowell found this in a magazine years ago and cracked up. It does look so much like them and it is a good thing as I still do not have a real photo to share.
Here they are!!
Lowell is wearing the same shirt and
Jen has toned down the rouge.
but it is them, don't you think?
Jen has enjoyed a vacation to Italy to visit her sister as was mentioned in Laura and Robert's section of this E-Card. Jim and I were so thrilled about this time the girls had together. It had been three years since they had been able to see each other. They went to Rome and Venice and lots of other spots.

Most days Jen is pretty busy just getting through the day with all the things going on. I am always impressed by how much she can manage to do in a day and how she slips in time to sew, do needle work, bake and cook, and paint pictures and refinish furniture. She has become and expert in dealing with medical insurance companies and as skilled as an RN in caring for Hazie's special needs. She makes sure her girls all get quality time with Mom and Dad and she does more laundry than anyone on the planet I think. It is overwhelming and she just keeps going and going. If she does get a moment to herself she spends it with her new best friend..her iPhone!

Lowell has gotten a nice promotion with his company this year. He is such a talented guy on the computer and it has served him well in his career. We are proud of all he does. Lowell sings beautifully and is always in a group of performers doing some crowd pleasing. He loves hiking, and doing adventuresome things and he also enjoyed Daddy/Daughter dates with his girls. He has been working on replacing their deck a little here and a little there this year. It is has been pretty difficult but he is doing a great job. Lowell did a lot of the cooking for Thanksgiving and he enjoys making cheese cakes and pies and trying new gourmet recipes!

Piper is 10 and doing great in 5th Grade. She has had the same best friend her entire school career. She and Mitrian are quite the pair! Piper is quite the y0ung lady now and is such a great help to her parents with the little sisters. She is sweet, quiet, very artistic, and a fashionista. She loves hats and her favorite colors are black and white. She is a serious and deep thinker but also a lot of fun! Piper loves singing in her school choir putting on her mall outfits (?) and shopping time with Mommy. They are quite the buddies those two! Piper is a night owl and can be found reading in bed way too late on most nights!

Piper and Mitrian

Julia
is 9 and enjoying 4th grade. They attend school with Connor and Aynslee and this is the first year Connor and Julia have had a different teacher! Julia is a wonderful reader and so full of fun. She can keep you laughing, that is for sure. She too is a wonderful helper around the house and with her little sisters. She and Piper are both really hooked on hats and they have quite the collection. The one she is sporting here is from Venice. The both look adorable in their hats! Piper's may have come from Venice as well. It is so nice having these two girls grow up so close in age. They enjoy doing just about everything together. Julia loves decorating, playing outside and using her imagination to entertain herself. She has an amazing memory! She loves to cook breakfast, her specialty is scrambled eggs and she is known for her lovely culinary accomplishments and the eye-pleasing presentation of her food.

Chloe is like a little action figure...always on the go. She is feisty, adorable and has a spicy enthusiasm for everything. She knows her mind and what she wants and keeps us all on our toes. She is fearless (scary) and funny. Here she is with this really cool (yeahrite) tarantella. These kinds of things bring her such glee! Yikes!

Chloe is one of our greatest gifts ever and we all adore her. She can be so cuddly and kind and she loves her grandparents...what a good kid, huh? With Chloe around you can bet there is never a dull or boring moment and she says some of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life. She and her cousin, Rossie, should take it on the road!

She loves her baby sister and loves to pester her, play with her, take her stuff and watch TV and cuddle with her. Chloe is to Hazel what a grain of sand is to a pearl. The process can be trying at times but the results are all good! Hazel can hold her own pretty well.

Little Hazie is 2 now and is getting in on the 'hat thing' going on at their house. She is doing so well, we are all so pleased. She is talking up a storm, signing lots of words because she can and loves doing it, and she is finally mobile with the invention Grampa, Lowell and Chris made for her. She is funny ( pretends to nod off and snore and does a great fake sneeze and then finds herself quite amusing.)

Here she is showing her physical therapist how she scoots around on the newly invented scooter! She is getting her wheelchair in June and it may be the smallest one ever made. She is still very tiny but needs to get those arms working for some cardio. She will have a surgery sometime in the summer to improve her breathing. She is really doing so well. There have been so many really cute photos this year of all the kids, but I am voting this one to be my favorite after much deliberation!

Actually, it might have been a tie with this one below.

Zach and Chloe~
Don't the bride and groom look stunning?
Loving the off the shoulder gown
and the wilted little wild flowers.

This is the "wedding" of Zach and Chloe
as orchestrated

by the bigger siblings and cousins
one summer afternoon.

(note Zach's tie~a little white sock!)

Ahhh Life is Good!

Bonnie--I love this photo; though I have seen it on your blog several times, I decided tonight I had to say "It's a winner!" You must enter it in some contest--it is so precious! I want to give them huggs! MJ
